Project Description
The study of sustainable vibro-acoustic and fire resistive materials made from polymeric industrial waste has become a priority for Governments and the Environmental Agencies around the world, due to increasing pollution levels and noise in urban regions.
The Civil and Environmental Engineering approach involves modelling the performance of the materials using powerful prediction tools since they are very cost-effective. In this project, we are looking for a candidate to work in a leading international laboratory for making, testing and modelling materials.
For this project we have various computational tools and/or experimental techniques that you will be using to produce/characterise novel materials.
