Project Description
Co-supervised with Professor Peter Hutchinson.
Although mild Traumatic Brain Injury (concussion) is the commonest form of brain injury, patient pathways are poorly defined, and patients sometimes lack the support required to deal with post-traumatic symptoms. This project will explore the healthcare systems required to deliver high-quality care to patients with mild Traumatic Brain Injury (concussion) in the UK. This will combine with qualitative and quantitative methods, to progress this important field. Applicants with an interest in combining patient-facing research with healthcare systems research would be well suited.
