Join Coventry University, where our research focuses on delivering ‘excellence with impact.’ This means we go beyond simply enhancing academic knowledge; our work affects real change in the wider world.
Coventry is a top-60 placed (Complete University Guide 2020) and top 15 (Guardian University Guide 2020), globally connected university. We have research collaborations across the world and multinational research staff and postgraduate researchers.
We give equal priority to high-quality research and high-quality teaching. In line with our 2021 strategy, we have made significant investments in our research portfolio and supporting infrastructure in the last year.
Around 600 academics work in our challenge-led, interdisciplinary research centres. Each centre excels in its own specialist areas, and 92% of our research was rated as ‘world-leading,’ ‘internationally excellent’ or ‘recognised internationally’ (REF 2014 – assessed every seven years).
